Built as Illinois Central GP9 9338 in December 1957 and rebuilt into GP11 8717 in October 1979, this venerable relic has earned this trip through the wash rack at Mays Yard.
Built as Illinois Central SW9 468, classic Paducah rebuild 1456 spent many years assigned to Mays Yard on the south end of the railroad.
